"On the Silent Wings of Freedom" by Yes

and though the title sounds like it could belong at a funeral, it really doesn't.

"Under Pressure" by Queen would be good too

I would choose Life is Beautiul by Sixx A.M., I love the song and it'd be perfect for any funeral. I might also choose

Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult,
Foreplay- Long Time by Boston,
I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor,
Dust in the Wind by Kansas,
Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen,
I Don't Wanna Stop by Ozzy Osbourne,
or Island In The Sun by Weezer.

Any of these will do. = )

Oh... and "v.v" = sad face.

Good choices SuperM@n.  And zetlandpeat, LOL.

How bout this?

Life's a dum de dum
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you

And always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the right side of life

Then again could have "Going Underground" by The Jam

'But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
'Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: 'we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.'

"Was it all worth it" by Queen ("What is there left for me to do in this life?  Did I achieve all I had set in my sights?...")

"These are the days of our lives" by Queen ("...No use sitting and thinking on what you did, when you can lay back and enjoy it through your kids...")

"Mother Love" by Queen ("...Got such a feeling as the sun goes down, I'm coming home to my sweet mother.  Mother love mother love...) Can't provide a video because the lyrics are somewhat questionable, but nothing like cussing, just a tad mature cause Freddie was on his way out when singing the song.

The first two being a recap of my life, asking (as mentioned in the above lyrics) if I had completed everything I ever wanted to do with my life.

The second song is perfect considering the lyrics in question were sung by Brian May, not Freddie, and they were hinting that Freddie was finally able to go home to get some well deserved rest, so It's a perfect funeral song)

Mercury
"I'll face it with a grin, I'm never giving in, On with the show!!  I'll top the bill, I'll overkill, I have to find the will to carry on with the, on with the show!!!" -- The Show Must Go On by Queen.  Freddie Mercury will live forever in our hearts.

Special thanks to Mr T for the sonic sig!! :D

Some of these songs are great - I've heard them (Mxy, I've memorized Hotel California), and I still didn't think of them!
* Lavacano beats himself to a pulp

And since a couple guys posted what they want on their grave/plaque/tombstone/sneakerphone, I know what I want mine to say.

"Nicholas Lastname (I don't think the BFMs will let me say my last name)
Died <year goes here>
Respawn in 3...2...1..."
Congratulations!

Hmm...I like the idea, I'm kinda a hard rocker myself so it would be hard, so for my tastes I would have

Indestructible -- Disturbed
Awake -- Godsmack
Separate Ways -- Journey
Juke Box Hero -- Foreigner

And if I was actually being serious it would be

Only the Good Die Young -- Billy Joel

Thank you Tanger!

Not for wealth, rank, or honor, but for personal worth and character
Cheers, Marty!
