Hog Defence

Say..

A 2 Enemy hogs are tailing you.
Your the gunner.
The first hog (rocket) tailing you shoots at you.
You flip out.
First hog continues not noticing you both live..
The second (chain gun) hog is gunning you down.
You hop back in your turret. Shoot back at 2nd hog.
You see your partner coming back to drive.
Unfortunately he gets gunned down in the process. (I'm still firing)
I kill a second after he dies.

I'm kicked. (For apparently camping, Mind you this lasted 5 to 8 seconds..)


I believe I was fine with what I did.
But I was told to take it to the forums.
And re kicked.. (Not necessary but eh no one cares do they?)

You were in gunner seat of a rocket hog in the middle of the map on Blood Gulch with no driver, there were enemy around and you were firing - I let it go as you were being attacked and I did not see the events leading up to you being there on your own.

On my next lap I see you near the blue base teleporter in a lone chain gunning and killed BFM_Taipain who was on vent with me at the time and he states he was not shooting back at you.  This is when I kicked you the first time.

You then returned and for the remainder of the map proceeded to argue the point that it was self defence.  I warned you to stop arguing, I told you to take it to the forums and I even gave you a last warning.  I then kicked you as you did not stop.  The main chat is not the place to argue with the admins - right or wrong if you have an issue please bring it here.

Now as for firing from a hog without a driver this is not allowed.
The only exception to this rule is if your driver dies and you are in immediate danger, then you may empty the remaining rockets of your rocket hog or chain for 3 seconds, after which time you MUST get out of the hog. 

In your senario you say that you got back in the hog and started chaining.  If you are out of the hog you cannot get in to start firing without a driver.

May seem like I am picking at things here but..

That whole game - I never used a rocket hog..
I tried to drive one at the start but got killed by rolling it.. (Not relevant but true.)

I was being shot at by a chain driver.. (On your perfectly timed 2nd lap of course..)
I was chaining back after rolling, I claim this in defense.
I was wrong to to that. I should have lied down on the ground and waited to be run over :/

After being kicked I came back.
I asked why. Twice.
After the second time I got my answer.
I was told I camped. (Which has now been found true.)
I never argued. I never got the chance.
I was then told to take it to the forums.
And kicked for the 2nd time.

I took it to the forums alright.

After you explaining this rule now. I understand.
Though I believe it should be made a bit clearer.
I am sorry I went 6 seconds longer than the rule states.
