Call of Duty 5 (World at War)
« on: October 29, 2008, 10:35:55 PM »
Anyone else been playing the beta? I've been playing it since Tuesday and it's the same as CoD4 in some ways, but yet it's very different... and I'm not sure if I like it yet.

If you want to download the beta (free) you can go to the official website, register, then you'll get an e-mail with a CD-Key inside for the beta, along with links to various mirrors containing the beta for download.

Got it last night, and a Beta key from a very nice person on the COD forums.

(i didn't get allocated a BETA key)

Its awesome, but not in all the ways COD4 was awesome, and there are a few things i am not too keen on.. but yeah, tis pretty good!

That'll fix it.

Got the full version, and it is awesome. Some maps are similar to CoD4 maps, yet others are totally different. They seemed to be much more spaced out now and more open field type maps.

Lawl, sounds pretty epic. Never got CoD4, but hopefully the maps will rock.

Like let's go Christmas.

I tend to avoid any Call of Duty games not made by Infiniti Ward. I may be a gamer, but I have to have my standards.

I was the same way, but Treyarch redeemed themselves in this one. Trust me.
