I was wondering how do I know when the pickup scrims start? and how do I access the channel on vent. ReF told me that they are avaliable to anyone on vent but I don't know how to get into them. Maybe I'll catch him on later and talk to him again, I tried to ask in Vent but my mic was messing up at the time and no one could hear me. Hoping for answers.

I have a new problem... If the server says Scrim [OPEN]- am I supposed to go into the room for picking teams?? Thanks everyone!

If you now have access to vent then when you finally get your mic and everything working it will all be explained to you in person. As far as when the pick up scrims start, it's like wandering when a pick up game of hoops is going to start on the playground. It starts whenever there are enough people who want to play. It can be almost anytime.

I've already been introduced to vent and stuff, but I don't know which server to go into for pickup scrims. or which channel on vent. im so cornfuzzled!!

Lieutenants and above will organize scrims during most evenings. Scrims often start between 7.30pm and 9.00pm CST. Someone will be roaming about the channels asking people if they want to scrim. Simply tell them you are interested and jump into the "Scrim" channel. As for scrim rules and other formalities, they will be introduced to you before the scrim starts. Then the fun begins!

Also Arya on the channel on vent that says Scrim it will have in bracets (OPEN). If you see that word "open" and people are joining the channel you are welcome to join in as well. If the word "Closed" is stated then you have unfortunatly missed the hog and will have to wait for the next one to start. But as exodus said the Officer running the scrim will enter every channel and ask if anyone is interest in scrimming.

Arya the room for picking teams is where the captains picking teams go. If you are a competitior just go into the normal scrim channel. Hope that helps.
