How to make pics for your sig?

For your profile signature, how do you make the cool pics that people have? For example, BFM_Slayton has his name with a gun magazine. Is there a program or something? All help is appreciated.

Well i'm not sure how people make them amazing  :P but you can ask someone to make you a sig under Multimedia, All about sigs. You can ask them to make you anything and they will be able to! I know most sig makers use gimp but i know there are other programes you can use.

photoshop and gimp are the ones most commonly used. But as Xelio said, there a bunch of people willing to make sigs for people in the "all about sigs" sub-board.
