What company do you use for your banner adds?  I am considering placing some, but there are so many to choose from.....

I'm not a webmaster but they use Google Ads.

As Max said, it's called Google Adsense I believe. They're easy, reliable, and available to almost anyone.

I see the "google", but thier are a myraid of companies that run the campagins.  It appears to be driven by an ad serving companyy as oppossed to independently.

I also assume that they use a company that is a bit sttricter on the content, so they don't get burned anymore by inappropriate content showing up on their site.

I believe Tang is right... all the ads as well are set up through Google.  And yes, we can choose to block certain ads/links to keep our content appropriate.  Some get through, but they get noticed and removed.

Looking directly at the page source tells you that they're directly from Google. (Uses Google-hosted JS file with no other branding.)
