Okay, I uninverted my mouse for a while last night... No wonder they call it ergonomic! It's so much easier to control right-side-up and the laser doesn't burn my eyes!
So my axis was not inverted whilst playing Halo. I thought I could do it, since mouse pointer controls on the computer (not in game) are not inverted and I use mouseses all the time.
Driving was a little weird, but do-able. I had a hard time keeping the viewpoint in the middle, instead looking more at the ground or more in the air. But then I hit a rock (completely unrelated to mouse control) and flipped.
ROFL! I could not look straight ahead to save my life! Indeed, if xplora was a better chase killer, I would have been dead. I kept looking straight up at the sky or, when I finally moved the mouse down, I was looking right at the ground and couldn't look up again.
Worse, my mouse hand/wrist/arm was feeling weird because the view wasn't going where I felt like I was directing it. My brain was having a hard time with up = up and my hand wasn't cooperating. All the unexpected and (what felt like) uncontrollable movement on-screen kicked up my motion sickness and I was getting dizzy and nauseous.
There were three of us in the server and, while I can't play uninverted for long, it was fun for one lap on Danger Canyon.
