Hint: The actor who delivered that line was Tom Waits. He only has a bit part in the movie, but I've always loved that monologue.

I guess that one was a wee bit too obscure. The movie I was going for was Francis Ford Coppola's 1983 film Rumble Fish. Highly recommended.
