Hello everyone. For once I'm not posting here with a problem, merely an inquiry of sorts

Is there any available information out there that gives basic information of the Halo maps?

To clarify, I'm looking for designer info on each map (i.e. map size in terms of certain units, height of elevation or how high the "ceiling" is from the ground, size of bases and natural forms such as rocks, etc). I'm thinking of making my next UT2K4 level based off of an existing Halo map, and in order to make it as accurate as possible I could possibly use the specs of the map as a basis of how big to make it.

If such information does not exist, I can make a rough estimate, I'm usually pretty good with those

I suggest that you post in Bungie's Halo PC forum.  Perhaps someone there might be able to help you?

I think you'd be best off making a rough estimate. There's so many details that you would need to consider, it would be unrealistic to retrieve all the information and apply ito to your U2K4 map, I reckons.

Like I said all I'm looking for is rough estimates so I can judge without having to do trial and error, but since I have another project that is actually school oriented I won't be starting the project until the summer anyway. Guess I'll just worry about it later then
