The 2270 was on a practice test, but the results came in and I got a 2130. I am taking it again March 14, hoping for a 2200+. Nice job Edison!

Thanks.

There's no reason to study, really; I didn't. I don't like the idea of studying for it anyways, since it's supposed to be somewhat like an IQ test, and that isn't something you study for.

I took the ACT 36 prep course.  There really is no studying for standardized tests like this.  The only thing that I got out of it was that the teachers had low expectations for me on the math portion  (they didn't expect anyone to finish the math portion).  Needless to say, I got a 35 there. :P  I got an algebra question wrong, go figure.  Did perfect on trig.
The prep courses are mostly about time management and reading skills, and that's about it.
You blame me?  Remember it had to get past 10 other players before I saw the ball.

Thanks to Spidey for this sig!                                                                                                                  .

I read somewhere that all the math on the SAT can be done mentally, it's just that they word it so weird that they make it harder than it actually is.

My scores for the 3/14 exam were 570 reading, 660 math, and 580 writing for a total of 1810, not bad considering I was burnt out by the 8th section (I'll be ready for it in June :P)

Thank you Tanger!
