See, soda or pop are fine, but coke? That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Coke is a specific type, so to apply it to all is simply outrageous. "What do you want?" "Oh, I'll have a coke." "Which kind?" "Coke." "I know, which kind, sir?" "I told you: coke!" See? When you say you want a coke, you want that horrible tasting, brown carbonated beverage that kills your teeth so much that you can actually feel it doing it's evil while drinking it.
Anyone who calls it coke should be ashamed! Ashamed!!!
