Another problem :/ (Vent on new laptop)

Okay... on the new laptop we just got we downloaded vent following the Tutorial exactly. When we tried to connect to BFM's vent it would not connect. We thought that we must have downloaded the wrong client program. My dad says we have a 64Bit Vista. We tried the windows x64 - 64 bit but it didn't work. (The first time we tried it was the    Windows i386 - 32bit - Win2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008) Any idea why this isn't working?

yeah, if you have a 64-bit version of Windows, you'll need to download the 64-bit version of vent.

You sure you got the right IP and port numbers?

What did vent say when you tried to connect?
You blame me?  Remember it had to get past 10 other players before I saw the ball.

FYI: With 64-bit Vista you can use EITHER the 32-bit OR the 64-bit version of vent just fine....

...And I was going to say "if the tutorial has IP & port 3s in it they're likely out-of-date...."  ::)
