Save Your CD key!

Hey if you heard the bungie podcast or jusr youtube search Save Your CD key. Bungie was talking about a new update coming to CE and halo PC! The possibilities are endless of what this guy is making. Only one person from Bungie has stuck with the PC and he did somthing!

'Can't post a link, due to the fact that - even tho it's an all-audio podcast - the displayed static image has a bad word in it....

It's audio from an xfire broadcast posted yesterday (July 8th) on the "Broadcast Halo" YouTube channel as "Hold Onto Your Halo PC CD key."

The gist of it is this, tho:

It looks like Roger has continued muck with the Halo CE code (despite the fact he doesn't have "official access" to the source code any more?!??) and there's a 10-minute demo of his new (CMT) Halo PC SPV2 (Beta) in their channel posted on Youtube as well. ('Was posted June 11th.)

I have no idea what Halo 2 or Halo 3 are like, but given the displayed version let's you alter your on-screen HUD with popup menus, it's DEFINITELY NOT a video of "normal" Halo CE! (It looks like what I think is the Halo 2/3 campaign....)

Here's the text of the Youtube video's sidebar:

"Bungie in their broadcast has discussed about holding on your Halo PC CD key for future use. Could it be:

-Halo CE V2 with updated graphics, physics, and abilities.
-Halo 3 PC.
-Halo: Reach Beta PC.
-Halo CE with the Celebrum.
-Expanded code of the BLAM! engine.

Who knows what this could be, but most of this is highly unlikely."

Oh indeed!

The video of it shows the player manipulating the way - position and type of - things are displayed on the player's screen! (I.e. Even MC's "helmet screen view" can be personalized to be just the way you like it!)

And it's obvious by the weapons being used that the battle engine is WAY better/different. (Which is why I wondered if it was based on either Halo 2 or 3, neither of which I've seen....)
