Way cheaper, looks more like a gun (which makes it cooler, right?), and is cleaner.  As in, it doesn't get paint all over the ground and your clothes and everything.

My vote is definitely paintball. The only reason for the whole mess is because of the fact it prevents cheaters, which exist in every sport.

I do like the fact that the airsoft guns look more realistic, however I'll always enjoy paintball much more than I ever could airsoft. It just doesn't have the same feel. Maybe it's  the pain.... Maybe. xD

Airsoft is a lot cheaper, which is also why I haven't gotten to play paintball in a while. v.v Back to the mess though, it's not hard to get off (unless the person who shot you uses paint that doesn't come out....). Oh, and airsoft is horrible when done indoors. My friend is still finding airsoft pellets around his house from two years ago at his birthday party. xD

Edit: forgot to say what marker I have. I have a stock SmartParts Ion. I need to get a nitrogen tank and I'd like a good loader for it.

Airsoft definately

Because in my opinion it brings alot of opprotunities for re-enactments.

I have a whole arsenal of WW-II airsoft weapons and clothing attire that every weekend me and my friends crawl into the heart of the woods behind my friends house dressed as Germans and Americans and we shoot the crap out of each other...


I particularly like sniping airsoft weapons, however inaccurate they are at distances over 20 feet unless you have a really decent one.

As for what gun I have, I have a gas operated M1 Garand that shoot BB's and ejects cast iron shell casings, along with the typical ping of the ammo loader, and a gas operated Colt 1991 look-alike that locks the slide back just like the real thing when you run out of BB's in the clip.


Basically I go for realism, no spring operated pieces of junk for me.

Airsoft is what i love, where i live there are no real paintball players anymore, it seems to have died out. I do have both paintball and airsoft guns. JG G3 with rail system, only upgrade is a 9.6volt battery. http://www.airsplat.com/Images/ERM-JG-T3-K1-G3.jpg, more or less like this.

I have a spyder electra, An AIM eagle E2 Autococker, A tippmann 98C. I have a torque 440 loudmouth loader , 2 glass packs and a steel (all 3 nitro), an Nxe 3+2 harness and for my scenario I have a 4+tank w/ remote coil. For my face mask I have my V-force Profilers.

I play arena, speedball, x ball, woodsball, scenario.

favorite game , ctf and zombie.

definately paintball! It can be played at MUCH longer ranges and in more realistic environments and you can shoot through stuff depending on how thick it is. The pain is also a factor, between that and the paint, you know when you hit someone.

I have a Tippman 98 custom with an M-16 barrel, stock, and a 24 oz CO2 tank (looking into using compressed air). Dont tell my buddies but I use a much higher fps that youre supposed to because of the way I use my gun. I shoot through brush and at very long ranges, I've never had the need to shoot anyone closer than 30 ft away and will not.
