No shields on Sniper Sidewinder CTF does not work!  Sorry Walker  :P  Before when there were shields the score was normally 3-2.  I played it today and nobody scored once.  It is just way to hard to get the flag and bring it back with no shields!

Ye it is hard enough to get the flag, even back to score. But with no shields, when we played earlier i dont think any1 even got out of the base.
1 frag kills them instantly.

Two requests:

1) Can you pretty please put shields back on Sidewinder CTF Snipers?  Its so hard to score!

2) Could you please make it so there are two banshees again on Infinity CTF?

On the matter of the shields on Sidewinder CTF..


I personally really enjoy player any type of gametype which involves snipers without shields. I honestly think it's more fun. I balances out the game. Tanks now have to be used with strategy, they aren't unkillable behemoths anymore. Same with the 'Shees, you can't just dive-bomb the bases anymore and spawn kill. You can't do things alone anymore, and expect to win.

I guess what I'm trying to say is it creates the need for a team to rely on each other, instead of playing solo. You have to have your teammates helping you in order to actually get anywhere. It gives the game a greater depth than just "point, shoot, kill." It makes it more interesting IMHO.

Heh back when i was part of {PR} we had this on our server it made for some intresting games just be sure if you do set this then turn on the freindly players flag becuse the guy on our server turned it of so you had no clue where your own team was aswell as the other team

I like CTF, but it seems like it goes by too fast. Maybe you could remove the time limit, and make the score limit something like 5 or 7. Just throwing ideas out.

RACE: is it possible to do all nav/ rally races b/c i rmb the old mixed race server and i liked those races a lot  :winkgrin:

Blood Gulch(all nav/rally)
Hang em high (all nav)
Sidewinder (rally)

ODDBALL (normal health and shields, TEAM, 5:00 time limit)

Hang em High [normal weps] (2 oddballs)
Derelict [HW]

CTF (no assault) (normal health and shields, no inf nades)

do u mean with snipers? if no snipers then there is really no point,but yeah that sounds fun.i really wanna do a team slayer at gephoryphobia (or whatever  :winkgrin: ) with banshees! lol
