AMD Data Change...Update New Data to DMI?

So my friend keeps getting this message on his computer screen every time
he tries to boot it up.  It either won't load past it or if it does, goes extremely
slow.  I was wondering if anyone knew what the problem was.

Well first off we'll need to know what exactly the message says. Secondly, it could be a number of things, from a hard drive failure to something in the chip got fried.
