First snow of the winter...

ive been dying for it to snow here.... yesterday it finally did! 5 inches when i went to bed last night 
but when i woke up, it was raining, and all my beautiful now turned to icky mush that got into my shoes as I walked outside for the bus this morning

In here we only have snow in a mountain range (which is the tallest in Portugal). Sometimes it also snows in other places but it is quite rare.

Sorry StarZ. I would love for it to snow at all where I live. It snows about once every 36 years. The last time it snowed was like 7 years ago, so we probably won't get snow for another 29 years. Though it seems to be getting closer every day!!!!

Just remember to carry a portable/drivable icy/slushy plower.

One time my family was driving in the mountains after it had snowed, we were in a real big truck (Ford F150, custom by the way.) and we come to a part in the road where there was a drop off to our left and a hill to our right that went straight up, aaaaannnnnddddd the road was blocked with a slanted pile of snow that went from one side to the other (the road was about 2 car lengths wide) well, my dad thought he could make it. So he started going over the pile of slanted snow, (at this time my mom is already mad at my dad for even thinking to attempt it, and just about ready to get out of the truck) and we get halfway accross the pile of snow, when all of a sudden we start sliding towards the cliff...... now my mom is yelling at my dad and I'm FREAKING out. My dad did make it, but I don't think i've been the same since, lol.

i have 3 feet of snow.. it started in the end of october.. it came late, i dont have a car so i just use my 2 wheel drive atv .. not time to chane up but yea.. i just follow the snowmachine trails goind idk 10-50 depening on what its like.. then i got home and tryed to drive threw the 3 feet of snow and got stuck     tome to break out my mountain bike again
