Haven't seen a post in here yet. If there was one in adifferent topic, all apoligies.

Anyways, holy crap did they beef the AI. Game is awesome on the campaign/firefight side of things. If anyone is up for a firefight later, gamertag is Ledgo. Hope to see you guys soon.

AI in general is smarter. They aren't over agressive and stupid anymore like they were legendary. They flank you any chance they really get. I haven't really had any health problems my entire time in Firefight (Though Black Eye skull levels are a toughie).

I really really really really wanna get it!

I saw some firefight clips on the net, and yea, the AI is significantly more intelligent - grunts climbing over stuff, dodging more grenades, etc.

The only thing I will really miss is the shields.

So i bought this today.

And my Xbox is telling me to download a console update before i can play it...

Just by pot luck, my live membership ran out the other day (what a waste, i never even played on xbox live more than a couple times this year)...

So, I guess I cant play it yet until I get live sorted...





So not to worry, as i bought Left 4 Dead today as well... (you know whats coming, dont you.)

Arrrrrgh! lol

Gotta download the game haven't I...

Yeah, I think part of it was they wanted you to have that feeling of desperation. That you are alone, overwelmed, out number, and in serious trouble.

Bought it 3 days ago, beat the campaign on Easy (this is what I always do, just to test out the game and get a feel for it) in 4 hours, which is RIDICULOUSLY quick for me. Tried Firefight (same difficulty) made it to Round 2 Wave 4 before I just gave up out of frustration (had 5 lives left but I knew I wasn't going to last long). They definitely have much stronger AI in that game than any other I've played.

Haven't set up live yet, going to wait til Christmas to do that :P

Black Eye??

"Catch" Skull is 10 minutes of pain.  You can't even focus on shooting because you're dodging nades left and right.

Yes but with black eye you gotta give the brutes nice big bear hugs :)

At least with plasma grenades you can see them coming, the problem comes when the Marines around you start tossing in Frags into the mix, those you can't see too well and they end up killing you :P
