For those who might not have got the joke, Enoch is a man of few words. He makes about 1 post per week, and half of those posts are just "." or "bump". So we honored him by doing the same.
He's also always telling everyone in the channel, except one victim like me or LEO, that he needs to pull all the others into another channel. So to promote him, rather than us pulling him into a channel to tell him, I said to everyone else that I needed to pull them, and left Enoch by himself in the racing room, and announced his promotion to the others. That's why we put up the CORPORAL in our comments. We thought that was another fitting tribute.
I think he was truly moved - he said "I don't have time for this, I have to go make the donuts".
Enoch will be a deadline corporal I believe - that job is to bump threads every 10 days. I think he is the perfect man for the job.
