Microsoft Word phails

I was busy typing up my formal report for physics when I saw the following:



Since when were "ten" and "both" not words??????????????

Tried it on mine, was fine - no error marked... I don't think its the spelling its finding, perhaps grammar notes?

Is that grammar or spelling check?  If it's grammar, then it might find  "9, ten" to be inconsistent I guess.  Which it's not, but I could see the mistake being made.

If it's spelling, I have no idea.  What does it suggest as a replacement if you ask it?

I was actually able to find out what the error was and correct it (for whatever reason the language changed to French ) which is why it's in multimedia and not Tech Support . I just thought it was quite funny To see "both" underlined as a spelling mistake.

Yeah if Word decides to change your language setting then it's possible that it won't recognize English words, but I agree Word fails

But if it was set to French, what about all the other non-French words - they're not highlighted!  Ah well.

Probably the language was only set to those two words of the document.
