Network problem?

Ok, every so often i encounter a huge lag spike and its hard to drive/gun while its happening. I'm reinstalling halo right now and I'm going to restart my router. If that doesn't work any suggestions?

Is any part of your Internet connection via/through a wireless router?

If so, there's yur problem!

Right, diagnose the problem WHILE WIRED, and if the problem doesn't show itself... it's your wireless connection! (DUH!  :LOL: ) BINGO!

tell us if you're still having this problem while you have a wired connection.  May take a few hours of playing or surfing to get a good read.

Its a really complex and advanced method for detecting network issues.....you play halo and see if you lag  :neckbeard:

Okay, then while still wired, check/do this and if that doesn't fix it (enough) go through this.

I think you'd better try running Can You Run It to see if your machine meets the RECOMMENDED (NOT minimum!) requirements for Halo then.


If it does, you've missed something somewhere then.  :-\

Okay, so I re-did the video settings and it seems to work a lot better now. There is no lag and I can play! :yesyes:
