Super lag

I finally fixed everything on halo, now everthing is slow and laggy. i mean the mouse moves slowly, background everything. i havent even tried ingame yet...
some help plx?

My Laptop makes halo seem laggier than my pc but its all down to the speed of you computer and how much it can handle ie. RAM and GHz ( i think)

I have been running halo on my laptop for about 2 years without this problem. then i unitstall it and reinstall it and now there is super lag everywhere...

EDIT: as i was typing this, the lag went away...wierd...

might i add that on my pc, the main screen has no image but has flashing colors on the screen...

The super lag was probably because your processor and your hard drive were still trying to load Halo up, or the initial executable failed to close properly after Halo started up.
