Muted on RS!!!!

I've been muted on RS for two dayys!!!
while this isnt the end of the word it's certainly very annoying since i am an active member in a merching clan
would it be possible that by advertising this clan (not via macroes, just typing it out) i would have gotten myself muted?

i've checked the appeal page and both my collumns are in the green with no offences aginst me...

And secondly, merch clans I hear make you loose money. Only the leader and high ranks earn money in merch clans. Type in on youtube "rs merch scam" or somrhing similiar.

My first guess would be a player mod muted you (yes they can do that) one of them must have been anoyed by you for some reason and muted you

but yeah players can do that mod muting thing? I'm guessing it's some kind of download that is breaking the rules or maybe it was just a Moderator (actually by mod-mute you probably meant it was a moderator aha, yup, a Player-Mod muted me, i see now.

I've been muted before, for about 2 days. It was all about using emotes for communication. Though back then quickchat hadn't been invented.

A player mod can only mute for 48 hours.  After Jagex reviews the abuse reports given jagex may lift or extend the mute or ban the player as necessary.

Never heard? I got muted for a year. it's not cool!! Over something they really misunderstood. However, it was being mean to my FRIEND but yes. Complete misunderstanding =[ Oh well, I can type now yay.
