well said. and that one level with all the dead civilians and brutes kinda reminded me of the MW2 controversy.......there was even a teddy bear backpack on the ground  :embarrassed:

In all honesty I was annoyed at the main twist towards the end. It's something that completely, in every way, goes against its own canon, primarily within the books. But it also goes against some of the stuff in the originals as well concerning said twist.

Only one is actually based on a game, and that one is the worst of all of them. There's obviously going to be stuff introduced in the books that isn't necessarily ever mentioned in the games prior to that.

The books are all officially acknowledged as being canon. No one can be considered to outweigh the other. Plus, the books tend to have much better stories and plot than the games do.
