can ya help [[fixed]]

well i got CoD 4 about 3 or 4 days ago and i finished the campaigne in one and i tried playing multiplayer but it just crashed even after ive installed the updates it comes up with this

I am no CoD4 expert but I believe you need to download the patch for version 7...you appear to be running version 6.  I think that is normal though because version 6 is that last version they produced to be distributed to stores.  Version 7 only comes as a patch.  To top it all off the patch is hard to find and, last I checked, could not be found on the official CoD site.  I am sure one of the more regular CoD4 players around here will be able to help you out though.

You can download it from xfire if you use it, it worked for me when downloading elsewhere didn't.

I had the same issue, it is because your computer does not have an internal microphone chip, mine didnt either
you need to plug in a mic for it to work, a rockband mic works too, thats what im running :P

actually you dont need a mic plugged in, there is a setting that usually messes up the multiplayer in the computers control pannel.

it said i had the update 7 already installed and there is no need to do it again so i tried plugging in a mic that worked but its quiet laggy but itll do thanks guys  ;D ;D ;D ;D
