If you're going to judge based on how long something's been going (and still airing), Detective Conan (Case Closed is the anglicized name) is over 500 eps and still airing (it's the longest one that I've seen stuff from that I like, though I can't catch up, still in the 100s after years). Then there's some that are upwards of 1000 episodes, and one that's upwards of 1500 episodes I think. Also, Dragonball was better than DBZ in that it was less repetitive. First saga wasn't bad since you can't say it was a copy, and then I think highest of Cell saga just because they had Gohan surpassing his dad to win, which was a nice variance (and I mean truly surpass unlike other times where he showed his clear ability, but he didn't really surpass and they were more of giving reason for the later skill). Plus Cell nommed people.
