Dragon Ball Z!

Dragon Ball Z, arguably the best anime out there.  My roommate bought season 1 and 2 and watching them was
really a blast from the past!  I almost forgot how awesome they were!  So how many of you have seen it or grew up watching
it?  One of my favorites, since it's such an epic TV show.

i grew up to jackie chan adventures but i got into dbz around the end of the Freeza Saga, and watched each episode tirelessly right through to the end... then all of dragonball gt..

yes i did enjoy it, was a while ago though, still a decent show

Vaguely remember watching it. The only thing I could remember was the microscopic sized planet. Literally one normal house fit on it. The dood who lived there had a car. There was a road going through the middle.

Not really, seeing as it's 10x more epic then Pokemon or Digimon.

Not really, seeing as it's 10x more epic then Pokemon or Digimon.

one of my favourite anime shows,
though the frieza/namek saga went on for way too long

Dragon Ball Z, arguably the best anime out there. 

Definitely not even arguably the best anime out there. That's like saying something like Naruto, Bleach, or One Piece are (though it is definitely better than those three terrible ones). Stuff like TTGL, Code Geass, Eva, and TRC are all vastly superior. But it's fun solely for the nostalgia purposes.

Of course Edison had to be here talking bad about those 3 animes (well I guess for Bleach is ok to talk bad ). But meh it's just opinions.

Well DBZ is for sure one of the best animes ever. I've watched countless times (yea we have a channel that has been airing all 3 Dragon ball (Dragon ball, Dragon ball Z and Dragon ball GT) for more than 10 years. I have to agree with Edison when he says it's fun to the nostalgia

Well I haven't seen any of those other animes so I guess I can't really compare.  But I still say Dragon Ball Z
is pretty epic in my opinion.  I just liked the concept of it, thought it was really cool.

If you're going to judge based on how long something's been going (and still airing), Detective Conan (Case Closed is the anglicized name) is over 500 eps and still airing (it's the longest one that I've seen stuff from that I like, though I can't catch up, still in the 100s after years). Then there's some that are upwards of 1000 episodes, and one that's upwards of 1500 episodes I think. Also, Dragonball was better than DBZ in that it was less repetitive. First saga wasn't bad since you can't say it was a copy, and then I think highest of Cell saga just because they had Gohan surpassing his dad to win, which was a nice variance (and I mean truly surpass unlike other times where he showed his clear ability, but he didn't really surpass and they were more of giving reason for the later skill). Plus Cell nommed people.
