Thanks, if you want to PM me I'll check into it.

The reason for this policy is that we have a lot of young members and guests

We used to have a long list of xfire names so people could get in contact with people on that list.

Sadly we had not-so-nice people use that list to abuse people with profanity and threats and we decided we didn't want to be responsible for that.  People are free to exchange PMs, xfire addresses and so forth, we just ask that they be careful and we no longer feel it's appropriate to publish a public list.

That's not to say that an adult officer might make his/her xfire available, and if someone in an unban requests posts their xfire we would probably not rush to remove it until we'd got in contact with them.  But yes we probably should remove that if it's no longer needed.

Also I think we've removed the xfire box from the forum profile, so that it's not possible for a forum member to remove it - if they go into their profile, they don't see it so they can't blank it out.  A forum admin has to do it for them.  PM me the name(s) and I'll see what I can do.

Turbo I have sent you a PM with regards to the motivation behind this post. I ask that you read it carefully please. Kiwi gave you a far more informative answer than I believe this thread warrants. Thanks Kiwi for your time in posting here.

Really turbo? Anything else you want to try to pick out on BFM? Feel free to pm me. The Xfire thing was to protect young members but yet you want to call out Cool? Well he isnt young and Yes that was policy and our concern was for young members. Sadly you are trying to just not care about the young members but trying to point out any LITTLE thing you can argue with. I can tell you that you can find other things than a little thing with BFM. We are human. What you cant find wrong with BFM is our respect for our guest and our loyality to all of our young guest and young BFMs. I can tell you over the years I have made mistakes since im human. Search back and im sure you can post any not important mistake I have made. BFM will be human and not a robot as we have always been. We admit any mistake and dont brag on the good stuff. I have an xfire name but never use it. Maybe you can pick me apart?
