Order of the Pheonix was also my favourite, with the Deathly Hallows a close second (rating the books, Movies cannot compare).

well the fifth movie was by far and away the worst

I think the fifth movie was OK, rescued because of the superb casting and acting of Imelda Staunton as Umbridge. But maybe because they have the equivalent of the first three books packed into the same space as the first movie, it suffers from missing too much.

My personal worst would be either the third or the fourth.

if its the books, my favourite would be the goblet of fire (from memory as i havn't read any of them since the deathly hallows ;p),
as for the movies, i will wait to see the last one before i comment ;p (so that could be a while depending on whether i go see this one at the cinemas or not )

Worst is a superlative. So long as there are gradings between the books there must necessarily be a worst, or several such worsts. As you well know.

I reckon we can, it has been over 1 and a half weeks since it has been out in Australia.

Personally, I didn't like it. I think if you are a true Harry Potter fan, you would have thought is was too much of an overkill. In the book the whole ending from where he entered the castle, took up about 150 pages (by guessing), but in the movie, it took up all except for like 20 minutes? I mean like seriously?! All it was, was fighting and details from the that didn't match up to the book.

I also have a complaint about the way they changed the whole castle. And when Voldemort and Snape were in the boat shed? Since when, was there ever a boat shed in Harry Potter?? And the bridge? There was a massive stone, 10 metre long, bridge. When on Earth was that in the other movies? Also, when they were breaking into Gringots, the multiplying valuables didn't even burn them! TBH I don't think they did a good job with Gringots. An finally, when Harry won the Elder Wand, he was the dumbest kid on Earth. He didn't even fix his phoenix wand! That was one of the whole point of him winning it! (Kinda).

Anyway, so you can probably tell that I am not very happy with this movie. I think they could have done better, to make the end... interesting, instead of just having most of the movie about people fighting one another. I did like some parts however. The only one I can actually be bothered to mention is the awkward hug Voldemort gave Malfoy! Haha, that made me laugh soooo hard, because I don't even think it was maent to be funny... but it was.

I'm not 100% sure if it is mentioned in the book, but I can remember going in a boat shed multiple times in the earlier games. Also, the Snape and Voldermort little change was probably my favourite addition to the movie.

Harry won the Elder Wand, he was the dumbest kid on Earth. He didn't even fix his phoenix wand! That was one of the whole point of him winning it!

I don't think that was a huge deal to be honest. If there was another film then yes I would say they should have shown it, but since there isn't - I don't think it was necessary. Much the same as how they didn't give Harry the 1000 Galleons after wining the Triwizard Tournament so that he could give them to George and Fred to start their shop.


The bit I was disappointed with was the ending. 150 pages is a little bit to much I think Panther, but the movie did miss the entire monologue between Harry and Voldermort in his final stages. Not to mention that there was like no one to witness the death of Voldermort because it was outside rather then in the Great Hall.

However, they made up for it with the amazing scenes that Professor McGonagall was in (Now my favourite character). Not too mention the cool as ninja moves from Snape when he flees the castle.

All in all I loved it. I have told those who has asked and this whole movie (part 1 and 2) has been the only of the franchise that I have come out happy with.
