Magic is definetely OP lol.  Nothing like getting it done with the classic duel Flames.

Or dual-cast Frostbite FTW vs other "flamethrowers!"

(Also Frostbite FTW for remote-detonating Rune traps!!)

I'm finally starting to work with - and spend perks on - Alchemy & Enchanting, so once I've gotten all new, better buffs I'll probably bump the difficulty up another notch....

Also, I now have 18 more dragon souls than words!  (I don't even know if there are 18 more words to find in the game?!?)

I thought they'd stop fighting me once I defeated Alduin....  ::)

FYI: I stock up on "Cure Disease" potions and always drink one after leaving anywhere I found vampires. (I've been a vampire enough in Oblivion to know that I don't really like it: Too much maintenance...)

ROFL-time!: When I view my list of stored books, it takes me a full two minutes to scroll through the list by holding down the down-arrow key!  :siderofl:

Ever tried being a werewolf? Turn into a tank once a day on demand... and comes with free disease immunity :)

1.3 Patch released earlier today... hopefully it fixes issues for those who are having trouble.

The one I read said it was yet to be approved for the other platforms... so maybe give it a day or two

I think I'll still wait a week or two and let other folks play guinea pig on this patch too....  ::)

FYI: I discovered how to get Words of Power locations as quest targets ( ?! + :yesyes: ), so now I've gotten almost a dozen more today.  (Thus bringing my # of "extra" dragon souls down to 11!  )

Also, I spent a half dozen trips back and forth totting the huge haul of Dwemer booty from various spelunking around Markath to my house in Whiterun, too....  ::)  :-X

And last of all, check this out!: This guy hooked Skyrim on his PC up and plays via his Kinect device!  It doesn't look like it has the sensitivity to get very good aim with the bows, though....

(I ROFLd at what he's wearing for the video, tho!!!  :siderofl:  >sigh<  ::) )

Definitely needs to practice his archery work. Not sure what I could call his tactics... I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he was showing us more of the Kinect stuff. And he had a LOT of trouble killing the dragon!

I used to post about what I was doing in Skyrim, but then I took an arrow in the knee.

Well the patch seems to be working in my favour so far, as running a core 2 duo processor. Before the patch whenever i travelled out into Skyrim, going over a brow or through a detailed area the game would lock up for a few seconds, even on lowest graphics settings. Doesn't seem to now, if anything i just get low frame rate for a few seconds.

Im a married level 21 Nord now. Close combat and ranged combat is fine, takes roughly 4 strikes/arrows on most enemies, health regeneration and plentiful potions of healing keeps me alive during more difficult battles. But I am on easy difficulty lol. I might notch it up to normal and up the challenge, but there are times even on easy some quests are a good challenge. I usually sell ingredients, potions and forged items to make money while i continue to level up my perks. I imagine what I sell will start to change soon though as Im about to get into enchanting my weapons and armour and such. I think, ive sided with the legion, based only on the fact that ive committed crimes accidentally in Riften where the Thieves guild is. xD

Interested in starting a new character on a higher difficulty already though to see what the difference in game play is like.

Loving the auto run/walk feature giving me a free hand. Best thing since sliced bread hehe.

I shot a bunny with an arrow while on the run! I rock...

Dragonrend and a high-damage 2-handed enchanted sword kills dragons in no time. Ive got umpteen dragon souls and none of my magic needs upgrading with them.... maybe that will change in time as I get more quests done and find more spells and stuff like that.

Ive had it a couple of times with the horses LowK. I find myself not using them as much now.

Dewmer metal i thought was pointlessly heavy too. Ill grab it if/when i need it in a quest later on by which time levelling up ill have more carry space anyway.

5 kg carry space per level is cruel though... every time.
