Thanks for always being such a fine example to your BFM brethren. In the Navy we talk about "Honor, Courage, Commitment" and your leadership has always embodied those traits. For a long time you've been a key part of why BFM is such a great place.

Goodbye Wic. Everyone should know how much you have done for BFM, you can't be replaced. This place just wont be the same without you. You have always been the voice of reason and common sense through scrims, training, and policy for us.

On a personal level, you were my bfm trainer and shoulder to lean on when things were not going as well as they should in life. I will never forget that, it means a lot to me. I am glad we are friends and will be keeping in touch.

Wow, thank you for all the very, very nice comments here.   They mean a lot.  What goes on here is a group effort, not just one, but I consider many of you friends and appreciate beyond words your kind thoughts.  There were many times when we got together over "non-BFM" stuff and to me that shows that our relationship and familiarity went beyond BFM.

I have exchanged PMs with a number of you and we will keep in touch.  Just because I no longer wear tags does not mean I won't be around (though Superman seems to think I shouldn't be  ).

As to "BFM retirement", well never say never is a good motto.  I will not say I would not or won't return.  For this moment in time this is good for me but I'd be lying if I didn't say that I miss being a part.  So who knows!  Til "whatever/whenever", I am not hard to find and would love to hear from you guys ongoing!

I'm sure we'll talk plenty  , but...

Just wanted to post something to say thanks for everything and all the time you've spent here.  When I had first joined BFM and getting big tags, you were one of the ones that I always admired and looked towards to always have an answer.  And you always did!    I've enjoyed getting to know you, and have always appreciated the fact that if any discussion was to go down, you would always have my back and vice versa, and even if we disagreed (which is rare!), we were always able to handle it maturely.  We might have gotten it handed to us during scrim time, but good grief, I don't think I could have ever had as much fun than with both you and Slayton around.

Thanks for all the good times, and many more will be had I'm sure

Wic, You have been a blessing to BFM and to me personally. We are very fortunate to have come to know you and Slayton and I have so much respect for both of you. Your time spent here has definitely made an impact on this clan and that impact has been very good and has become part of it's legacy. I hope that I do not have to miss you as I know that there will be other venues to catch up with you on. Pm me your's and Slayton's steam names as I will look you up when I can.  Thank you for your friendship and the time that you have given to me, my daughters and all who needed you in this clan.
