I know that only bfms and BFMs can macro, but I have always wondered: How do you macro? I could never figure it out. Someone please explain to me how it all works. :-\

There are any number of programs you can download that run macros of all kinds.  We simply use one that types out text for us at the touch of a button.

Google it, you'll find many TUT's on how to get it all set up.

I keep my halo fingers exercised nowadays.

Nah, not bothered since the new comp. (Quake III has its own console command to bind keys to text, or names practically anything. Tis common to come ingame as "UnnamedPlayer" or something and get top score and keep it there all the way through the match, keeping other server regulars in suspense at who it really is till the last 3 wins 30 mins later.)
