Can't Connect To XFire

I havent used xfire in about a month.. i went to use it yesterday and put my correct pass and user in press connect and it keeps comin up error and attempting to connect but the time keeps getting longer and longer and it wont connect :(

It's probably trying to download updates.

Go download and install the latest version manually and see if that fixes it all....

nope.. i dled it but it just keeps saying connecting

time out in 'x'

then goes onto timed out
reconnecting

and back to the first part and so on and so fourth
