BFM Vent dont like me

OK Iam being disconnected from BFM vent sometimes. I thought the server was going down, but turns out BFM vent is kicking me out and I cant even contact the server (not even in the server browser). All the other servers work for me but BFM vent.

Currently it constantly says contacting server, but everyone on xfire assures me that the BFM server is still up and heck iam still in there (20min later after i had been disconnected). Help

Things I have tried: Complete Reinstalling (didnt help). Yelling at it (didnt help). Restarting Router (didnt help)

did you try restarting PC. it happen to me and exodus the other day and it worked like a charm.

its proberly thast crapy over seas connection you've got. and im not talking about aus to us !

My networking self is constantly telling me its the servers fault here. Since we did get a new vent server and all. However others are able to connect with it and iam not

so it will have to be something wrong with the connection to the server (not my fault or the servers fault).

But just posting here to see if iam wrong and there is a way to fix it without waiting an hour to establish a connection again

Maybe it doesn't like you?
Restart and Re-Install everything possible first, then move on to violence, then come back here if that fails. (which it will).

all fine now, but I have a feeling it might do it again

If I can connect to other vents and not BFM its a connection issue with the new vent

I have already completely reinstalled vent (key word is completely, e.g have deleted the Vent folder in application data)

I haven't restarted the computer since the problem fixed itself after an hour or so.

Dangit, I guess that "vent stop liking Taipan" virus didn't work. I forgot to add the "still don't lke Taipan after re-installing"feature. O well, I'll get it next time.

I think it was contagious, because i got it too for a while. Horrible thing was i had just started a conversation, and i could hear them talking about how i lagged out, though i hadn't, i just couldn't talk. Joxer had a good laugh though, lol. I eventually gave up and went on the Aussie Vent. It stopped doing it the next day when i tried it again, but it was a bit worrying.

like exodus he told me to relay a message to Mr Booyah. so i go down to talk to him say hello he say hello back and i lag out. so me and exodus are on the aussie vent and are all annoyed. elvis over msn mentioned a pc restart i did and it worked.
