Yeah, some of the built-in scenarios are TOUGH!
Sonny(Protoss) and I(Terran) used to play via LAN versus computer(Zerg) a lot.
Fun to play all three factions, too. (My prefs: 1) Terran, 2) Protoss, 3) Zerg)

i would play starcraft 1 and broodwars again but my windows 7 dell will give me a color pixilate real bad making it look unpleasant. basically it just looks like someone painted random dots on my screen and its just annoying

Running it in W98 compatibility and as Administrator?

Ok. there is a fix for this. and its very silly but for some reason it works. Dont ask me why. On your desktop right click and open screen resolution. leave it open. Run the game as an admin and do the windows 98 compatibility run. then start the game. The menu may have some funny colors but in game should be fixed. leaving screen resolution open seems to fix it for some strange reason. this is the same fix for other older games that have this color problem. Dont ask me how it works, just be happy that it does. Happy starcrafting

2012, lol! I still whip out Broodwar and run through the scenarios as a refresher before tackling 5-7 enemies in free-for-all mode. Or sometimes assign a computer as a Protoss ally while I do the Terran defense. Same pixelization issues as above, but usually in-game plays fine after re-opening the game. Now using Vista Ultimate (pirated is all that is avail in the Big Sandbox for Win upgrades). :Chaindog:
