Oh dear, mine's not exactly a RIG, it's more like.....a Geo Metro....compared to some of your gaming RIGS. Here's my wonderfully stable but rather poor graphical computer:

Dell Dimension E3100
Intel Pentium 4 HT CPU 2.80GHz
Upgraded to 2GB DDR2 RAM  ;D
80 GB Hard Drive
Intel 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family  :'( (integrated video)
15 inch flat-panel LCD
Soundblaster SigmaTel Audio (5.1 surround capable)
Altec Lansing 2.1 Speaker System (25W RMS, 60W Total/1 subwoofer, 2 satellites)/Plantronics Gaming Headset
Saitek Eclipse Keyboard - Illuminated Blue Keys
Logitec LX3 Optical Mouse
Handstands Laser Pad (Wal-Mart rules!)
Windows XP Media Center Edition

By far nothing fancy, but it gets the job done....when taxes come, I plan on getting tires for my truck, and a new PC. Then this one is going on EBAY!

It's easier for me to post a picture of the specs than copy and paste and reformat them

(Note) I actually have 2 gig of ram now
(Note2) I actually have the listed sound systems PLUS an Adcom GFA 5500 amplifier (insane wattage at 2 ohms stable)

Nearly 5 years old, lasted nearly 4 years without a single blue screen of death.
Athlon XP 2000+ (~1.67GHz)
512MB DDR RAM (Anyone got ~$50 so I can get a gig?)
Geforce FX 5200 (AGP 4x :P)
ASUS A7N266-VM (nForce 220)
Seagate ST3320620A (320GB?)
Seagate ST340014A (40GB?)
ASUS CRW-5224A
ASUS DRW-1608P2S
SONY floppy disk drive
USB2.0 card
Lucent Winmodem
JASS Speakers
A4Tech (OEM, unbranded) Keyboard
Gigabyte GM-R03 (v1)
AOC LM520
XP SP2 (SP1 up until mid 2007)

Stunningly reliable system, despite the rather outdated components. I almost cried when I got my first BSoD last year.

Here's the rig my son and I built - for HIM! - last year, and have decked-out a bit since:

My Halo rig is: Custom built (by MrMxyzptlk & son, MoNsTeR/Assassin)

    Processor/Type/Speed: Intel (E6500) Core 2 Duo 2.33Ghz Dual Core
CPU fan: Thermaltake TMG i1 (CL-P0370)
    Motherboard: ASUS P5N-E SLI
    Ram memory/type/amt/speed: 2x1GB Corsair 800Mhz
    Video Card type/speed/memory: Dual (SLi-config) 7950GT 1.43 GHz/256-bit/512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 (each)
Case:  Raidmax Sagitta (Black w/blue grill LEDs)
Power Supply: Raidmax RX-630 "Volcano" 630W, Low noise, Blue LED's

    Video card driver: BFG/nVidia
OS & service pack: XP Pro SP2
    DX version: 9c
    Monitor size/type/qty.: 24" LCD 1920x1200 Westinghouse L2410NM
    Mouse, type: Razer Copperhead
Keyboard (or similar device) type: Razer Taranula w/ add-on gaming light

Internet connection, type/speed/provider: [shared] Comcast cable Standard (4-6Mbps dn / 368kbps up)
    Modem, type: Motorola Speedstream

    Additional Items:
    Saitek Cyborg EVO gaming joystick
7.1 Headset: Razer Barracuda (REALLY! It has multiple speakers inside each ear cup!!)
5.1 Speaker system: Altec Lansing FX5051
Additional blue LED: "feet"; ultra-quiet intake & exhaust fans
    1 ultra-quiet PCI-slot fan

Lemme tell ya: Games look SO AWESOME on this thing, when he bumps up all the video options to "high" and you see it at 1920x1200!!!
And I balanced the airflow (used stick-on strip thermometer and some paper "streamers") to adjust it so the fans spin low-speed (quiet) ...and the thing runs cooler than mine does!
