Okay, I usually lag when playing Halo as some of you will know, lol.
But I know whats wrong now. I got wireless internet and my pc is quite far away from the router, so I usually only have a reach of 1 or 2 bars (with 5 being the max).
Now I put my laptop almost next to the router, got max. reach and had no lag what so ever.
Well, I think I got 3 options now:
1. Stop using wireless internet. There is a wire for the internet but its too short to reach my pc. So than I should try and make it longer or is it possible to buy a longer one? O, and there is another pc that will need this wire for internet so...one long wire that must be able to provide internet for 2 pc's.
2. Get some sort of antenna. Put it next to my pc so I may get a better signal.
3. Get a more expensive atenna which you put between the router and pc. It picks up the signal and strengthens it and sends it to my pc.
My preference is option 1. But I am really no good with wires and making them longer and stuff.
I dont know if you can buy one that can even be used for 2 pc's.
Ok, so I just would like to hear your opinion of what I can do best and Why.
Thanks.

ROFL @ Ben! ^^!
Yeah, #1 is obviously the way to go, as even tho you THINK wireless will be fine if you boost the signal, there's always some intermittent thing that happens to cause problems. (The usual ones are someone using a microwave in-range [which is why you should NOT use channel 6 on WiFi!], or a new WAP someone adds nearby that's on the same channel....)
So that long cable is your best bang-for-the-buck....
As for signal boosting: the only real & best way to do this is to get a "booster antenna" for the WAP. They sell all kinds for all sorts of brands (http://www.ebuyer.com/search/?qfind=antenna&x=0&y=0) all over the place.

hard wired is best, too many wireless servers, tv senders etc around

I will see if I can get this long cable going.
