Title: **Question about a rule**
Post by: Benny on November 14, 2009, 08:29:14 PM
I am a PR so I just want to fully understand all the rules

If you are a gunner and you're driver is killed, Should you cease fire right away or can you defend you're self before going to drive?

In section 6, Camping (http://www.bfmracing.net/rule6.php), it says:

Don't gun from the back of a driverless hog, except when you are under attack. Even then, you may only empty your rocket magazine, or shoot with a machine gun for no longer than three seconds, after which you must exit the gunner's turret

So if your driver dies, and you are being shot at, you can defend yourself.   After emptying your rockets, or firing the chain for 3 seconds, you should jump out and drive, or duck behind the hog until danger has passed.
