I can't think of a band name with only 3 letters!

Least I can get is 4 (AC/DC, Korn, etc.)

I can think of 3 letter song titles (One--Metallica) does that count?  :winkgrin:

Hint #2:
  Althought the band line up changes regularily, there is one poerson, the frontman, who stay constant.  When he releases a new album, and it is a Remix, it wasnt even him that did the work....it was his fans!!!

That would be a negative Bob.

Hint 1:

The lead singer from this Boston based outfit, left this band after their second album to form another band in his native land of Canada.  The second band's name was the same as his LAST name.  The album pictured above had three MAJOR radio hits, one being "faO ehT".
