awesome save from rene. actually he's not a great keeper, because he does this kind of stuff he usually fails and gets to pick the ball out of the net. If he fails he's a clown, if it works he's a hero He's still loved in columbia

When I say this was the best save ever, it's obviously true that in terms of difficulty there are harder ones. But, let's face it, that is an absolutely brilliant save to watch. I have heard of the Banks v. Pele save. But of course there are those of us, Kiwi, not old enough to remember it.

To be honest, other modern goalkeepers have made similar saves, but this was a world cup final, against Pele.  Pele was so sure he'd scored, he started celebrating.
