Official Time Trial Rules

- Get together with a Sergeant or above to run time trials.
- Anyone with vent access can do time trials. If interested contact one of the time trial officials.
- The person who is driving will always have a gunner who is a SGT or above to watch for lag. That gunner is not allowed to fire. If lag happens the lap is then voided. It doesnt matter if its a great lap or a bad lap. Lag equals a voided lap. If lag results in a disqualification of a run, you will have the opportunity to attempt that map (or maps) later that day. If the lag persists, you will have the opportunity to try once more within the week before the monthly deadline.
- When you run your three laps they are final for the month. If you don't like them you will have to wait until the next month, so practice before doing time trials.
- All times are subject to official approval. If your time(s) seem like they could have resulted due to lag, then you may be requested to re-run them for verification.
- To be considered for the monthly winner, you must complete all 8 maps.
- Your score for a map is figured by taking the average of your best three laps out of 4 laps completed. You have one throw away lap. You will run four laps and keep the best 3.
- Please don't join a server while time trials are running. It can cause lag and distractions.
- Time trials will be run every month. Beginning on the first (1st) of every month and ending on the last day of the month.
- You may not use the tunnels on Danger Canyon.
- Infinity is single nav, not all nav.
- You will find that there are 2 hogs on the time trial maps. Sometimes the hog can get in the way on Ice Fields. If the hog is in the way on any map, it should be moved completely out of the way.
- Your shields are set high enough so you wont die if you miss the bridge jump. If you do miss the bridge jump and fall out, quickly get back in the hog and keep going.
- The final standings and lap scoring will be made official by BFM_Elvis. No lap times are official until approved by BFM_Elvis.

1st = 10 Points
2nd = 9 Points
3rd = 8 Points
4th = 7 Points
5th = 6 Points
6th = 5 Points
7th = 4 Points
8th = 3 Points
9th = 2 Points
10th = 1 Point
