Ever have a day where you just feel like you're suppose to inspire someone else, or feeling inspired yourself and wish to share it with others? Sometimes a message about life just pops into your mind? Please, share it here and help inspire the rest of us. = )
-
Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. :)
-
Two quotes:
"You cannot see the future, with eyes full of tears" - Medieval Total War II - Americas Campaign quote :L (Forgot who by)
and
"Is it not better to live and forget than to not live and remember?" - My own... as far as I am aware no other inspirational person has said it. Correct me if wrong but I felt proud making that up by myself.
-
Sounds like you've adapted Christina Rossetti, Noddu:
Better by far you should forget and smile than that you should remember and be sad.
Never mind, it's still a pretty good quote.
-
That speech does tend to make me well up almost every time I hear it. Its continuation is highly revealing too:
"... We shall never surrender, and if, which I do not for a moment believe, this island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old. "
It's not just an appeal to the British to never give up, but an appeal to the United States to join the War and turn the tide.

Great stuff everyone. Keep it up!
-
It is cooperation, not competition, that drives civilization forward.

I couldn't say them any better than these two did (http://www.bfmracing.net/forums/index.php?topic=59369.msg440320#msg440320)....

Came up with something this morning after watching Psych.
Often times, intelligent or skilled persons are called gifted. The truth is that it is only a gift if it is shared with the world.
-
Don't get mad, get even.
-
I ignore if someone else said something similar before:
It doesn't matter if you are the best in your field. If you don't aim to help others, you've failed humanity.
- or -
You shouldn't aim for people knowing your name, but for people being benefited by your creation.
A good leader is not always the most skilled person, but whoever can motivate others to do their best.
-
It's amazing how power makes people immature:
- In every dispute, two sides are at fault. Accepting your own mistake and understanding the other part is a sign of growth.
-
Often, it is those that hasten to cast blame that should be the first to apologize
-
LoL... I don't know bout inspiration but when I am most convinced of my for surely being right in whatever matter; I am most certainly wrong :siderofl:

RoRo thee hast deleted with to much zeal me's thinx...
Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill
"We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender,"

If you treat every day as if it were your last, then pretty quickly you'll find that it will be.
Don't get worked up over things that are beyond your control, but be cognizant of them and alter your actions accordingly.
