I'm confused.
What script, and what text??
-
Never seen this question before... Lol ;D
Here, let me find a nice little application for you.....
Modify: Okay, I found it. All credit goes to Xhzjang for making it. I would not advise moving around the text location, because it is in just about the best spot that it can be in right now. Anyway, here's the link:
>>Xhzjangs Halo Font Editor<< (http://w0d.zerotri.net/XhzjangsHaloFontEditor.zip)
Just unzip that file, and run the program.
Just so you know, there is some other really long complicated way of doing it, but, I'm lazy, and like to take the easy way out :yesyes: (!
Any questions, just ask.
:munch:
That is what I am talking about. And also the text from halo multyplayer. It appears at the top of the screen were my shield display is.

Go to the forum link below to fix it all.....hopefully! Somebody really should delete all the posts that talk about using this nasty program, I think it causes more problems that it's worth. LOL 2c 2c 2c 2c

You can't find it in "Add/Remove Programs" (under Control Panel) to remove it?
-
No. I had the same problem a few months ago when I tried it. You must find and delete all the files manually.
-
Ok. Remove it? You mean remove the font editor program? I think that's what you are asking. As far as my computer goes, XP Pro, there was not an actual installation. It was a self-contained "EXE" file and didn't "install" anything, which is why it doesn't appear anywhere. To remove it, just delete the program and NEVER download it again. :-)

So, making halo in-game text colour change = bad?
I haven't done it, wasn't planning to, but good to know ;D
-
No, changing your in game text color is actually pretty easy and relatively safe. His problem is in the program he used to try to accomplish the task. You don't actually have to use any program at all to change your text color.
-
Ok thanks, still don't think I'll bother, knowing my computer skills i'll somehow install a virus or something ;D

What Mxy said

How would you go about moving the text box itself without using the program? I know which folder to go into, but I don't know what to change for the text itself to move.

Try messing with the "left," "top," "width," "height" and settings. They're some kind of character count/pixel offsets from ... maybe the upper-left corner of the screen?
I'd bet you can do it that way....
NOTE: Just be sure to either/both make a copy of the file before you mess with it, and/or write down the original values!

I fixed it I would like to give a big thanks to Madwho and my brother Ithilin (not his real name).
