Alas I am sticking to the Paper, Dice and Moutain Dew version.  I like the feel of playing on a table top better.

Plus ever since this game went F2P the community got worse because anyone could play the game instead of people who were paying for it.

If that doesn't make sense, play Runescape for two hours, then go play WoW.

I do occasionally. You can add either Elehnsar or Khandor.

I played (the Original version mentioned by Slayton) for years in a club throughout and after college.

Our (permanent) Dungeon Master even wrote a book on the game!

(His GF played, too, and they had a D&D-themed Druidic wedding a couple years out of college! It was a blast! Most everyone came in character, which left me walking on my knees all night! [My character was a dwarf!])

I still have my die box... somewhere!

Anyway, being in the "computer graphics industry" i always dreamed of playing the game by computer and skipping all the out-of-band stuff like die rolls....

WoW looked like it might come close, but it wasn't for me. (Too many brats, and I won't pay-to-play anything on subscription!)

I recently (like, 10 months ago now??) found an MMORPG like WoW, but free - completely - and have been playing that for hours a day now. (Instead of Halo Race, if you haven't noticed....  ::) )  [FYI: It's rated "Mature" and you must be 17 or older to join and play....]

It's not D&D, but it's close enough for me!

Ah, so that explains your absence. I was just thinking someone managed to get you to say your name backwards, how do you pronounce it again?

Lucky's Epic Journey

-  I finally made a guy and got on.

-  I did the opening quest, it was alright.

-  Once I left that dungeon or whatever I couldn't find my way out of the little village after 30 MINUTES!  I wanted to kill something!

-  I quit.  Sorry.  This game isn't for me.

Back to Fallout 3 I guess..

Thanks for the heads up MrMxyzptlk, i wasn't aware there were such games available. Now just got to get it to work. Had to send in a support ticket, as per their instructions via their forum, that was 3 days ago  :P

I tried D&D, Just didn't like the feel of it. Characters walk funny too. I don't know, It's a personal opinion but I just don't like the game. Plus, Ever since I downloaded it my computer seemed to act funny. Maybe it was something else, who knows.
