Split SSBB Competitions?

Sandoz and I didn't know what to do with rule #3 (No Items during Competition), because knight would like it with items.  Does it sound great to have two contests?
One contest with items and another contest without Items?

I have two things I want to address...

We should not have two separate tournaments simply because of the items rule.  Instead, we should come to a compromise.  I was the only one who has spoken out against items, and to be honest, if everyone else doesn't want items, I really wouldn't mind playing without them.

The second thing I want to address is the time rule.  I honestly don't  feel it's necessary to record each match. If your playing with the BFM community it's because you have some desirable traits, one of them consisting of honesty.  If you do not have the honesty to report a loss in a Wii game, this isn't the place where anyone should be.
