Well I managed to get hold of a welding mask and popped out of work for a moment to have a peek at the sun this arvo as the moon kinda went infront of it and this is the best I came up with.

The welding mask I borrowed did a great job at allowing me to see the sun. Even now, 30 minutes later I can see it clearly.
