i was just wondering what hotkeys are

i believe hot keys are keys you press to do something.  like for example i will use vent because its the easiest to describe.  the hot key to activate your mic on vent is left tab usually.  if you hit left tab it will activate your mic.  so they are a key you hit to activate something.  another example might be like a macro.  if in halo you hit the talk button then you hit lets say 9 then the macro you made will be typed out with a single hit of a key. i believe that i what they are.

Another good example of hot keys would be my TS account where I use shift to activate the mic.

Oh I just thought of a better one. If you have Dev mod the keys that you use to activate and deactivate time freeze are considered hot keys

It's what BFMs use when the say the rules, you click t (to talk) then you hold like to or one bottons down.

Yes exactly..

It is not just what BFM use to spam there rules, that is a type but there a many forms of HotKeys.

Its just used to simplify something, if you know you are going to be using it over and over again.
