For all those who don't know about my BFM story, it is basically a mini hobby I have to interest the fond readers who enjoy Halo, BFM forums and of course stories. However I have reached a dilhema..
I hit writers block after Chapter 7 part 2, with characters dead I felt a bit lost within the story.
With many hits it would be a shame to edit the stories to refit my imagination. Unlike a real book, I don't have the privallege to edit the previous chapters and release it as a bundle.
Hence to move the story along, I will create a spinoff; 1) to keep readers / fans engaged. 2) Maybe a spinoff which does not necessarily tie into the main story will help me come up with ideas.
I would like thoughts and opinions on this move. And of course suggestions, even if its for a mention for you in the spinoff. :)

Indeed a prequel, but a title more so "The Years of the King" and have it invovle Elvis and some of the members from a long time ago that are still here and those that were significant?

I might just make a lilttle mini episode for every character... including Jim360 as a young marine or something

or a story of completly me about owning everyone :P nah i really liked supermans idea. I would for sure read that... ask some of the older members about some BFM's that retiered and wright a story about them. Or the story could be like the flood attacked both red and blue base and they had to team up even the teams are so diffrent. With that idea it would be making them work together and if they don't...

I DEFINATELY love Xelio's idea about the Flood...
I think the BFM actual story has a place for that.
I've already begun work on Kiwi's origin story :L It involves him being a soldier in WWII and may tie into the mystery of the main story at some stage. I shall post the stories up on the general board as per usual.
Keep the ideas flowing as I may not be bouncing back to the main story straight away

howbout something to do with me, reaper, kiwi, mith, meelisa, and skedog.
and tytled something like After the Storm
and has us being on a ship at sea and a great storm comes and wreakes the ship and ending up on a wild island with only a few rocket hogs, ar guns, and rocket launchers.
maby have talking animals too like in narnia :smly_a_wink:

The battle rages on for days without any relief. The sudden roar across the sands attracks everyones attention and all cease their efforts when their eyes gaze upon....................
yess, you guessed it.............Invert enters and the field of battle and everything is turned upside down. Everyone startled and flailing as they fall from the map. A slight smile can be seen from beneath his visor as Inverts eyes watch the 'hero' 360 falling out of sight.
