Well, it's Halo's turn to post one, but I'll give it a go while we wait for her to post...  :bump:

Is it Yin-Yang?

*2 months later...*

Err... wow... I fail. SORRY!!! Totally forgot. Jim needs to spam me or I forget. ;D

Here goes!

You need not feed me at my mouth,
A snake that often journeys north to south.
I'll surge along my well-worn path,
The solid earth itself shall feel my wrath.
Overfeed me and I will swell,
I'd advise you to flee from whence you dwell.

Good luck!

A man is carrying a 20kg barrel,
he puts something in it and it weighs less than 20kg,
what did he put in the barrel??

Anything that weighs less than 20kg was put in the barrel. A feather, a pencil... could have been anything.

'he put something in it and it weighs less than 20kg' <---this sentence could refer to 'it' as the barrel OR the item being placed within it.

Unless you meant to say, 'he put something in it and [the barrel] weighs less than 20kg?

~Z

EDIT: if you were looking for an item that will make it weigh less, then, since weight is relative to gravitational pull, he could put a helium baloon or other artefact that rises to counteract the weight of the barrel.

I'd say he put a hole in it.

I am not riddle clever, that's like the third time we've seen the "hole in a barrel" riddle :P

I'll post one soon, sometime this month ;D
