Title: punkbuster

i was reading the beginers thread and i saw that you needed to install something called punkbuster to play online
i skipped this in the setup
do you actually need this for the bfm servers or is it an optional extra?
do i need to reinstall the game or is there another way

See if you can connect to the BFM server (which you probably won't be able to). If not, download and install punkbuster.

All punkbuster is is an anti-cheat program, so yes, it would probably be good to install.
