me and my brother were trying to connect over lan while playing cod 4

i dont know why we cant connect

please ask questions so i can give you details

were you sharing the same Internet?
Were you both using different copies of cod4?
were you both using different Computers?
are you sure the internet was plugged in?

we tried with both internet and no internet

also we were using the same copy on cod

that'd be why then, you need 2 different CD keys to be able to connect to each other, as with halo.

Not entirely true...me and my brother always do LAN games over the same copy, never had a problem.

i cant actually find any lan games, the game doesnt actually come up on the list
